Where Adult Content Affiliates Come to learn Marketing Skills

As the Admin for this particular site, I thought I would give you people a better understanding of exactly why I created it.
Adult Entertainment is a BILLION DOLLAR per YEAR industry. There is so much money to be made online in this industry that the amount of people trying to get themselves a piece of the pie, is almost staggering. What is even more staggering however, are the amount of sites actually "supplying" the service or content.
The problem for most people trying to make money in this industry, is that they have this "if we build it, they will come" attitude. This simply DOES NOT WORK, as I am sure most of you know by now.
My hope is that by becoming a member of this community you will be able to learn different tips, tricks and tecniques for effectively marketing adult content online. I would also like to see all members stick around and assist the others who need it.Whether you are a seasoned webmaster or an aspiring affiliate, I would like this to be the place to come to learn, and to teach.
Although I do not normally market adult content, i do know my way around getting targeted traffic to websites in other niches. It is because of this that my inspiration for this community actually came from another person who is already involved adult content. It basically stemmed from a question he posted on another site in which i happened to be the one who answered. It was only after his reply that i was told he marketed adult content, and yet his relpy was that after the years he has already spent doing this, that my advice was probably "the most sound advice i have gotten in 2 years".
So after some thinking and a little online digging i figured out that with some added tweaking, these same tecniques could basically be applied to marketing adult content as well. And so this community was born.....
